How Do You Pick A Wedding Color Palette?

How do you pick a wedding color that you actually stick to? Ours has changed 3 times from when we originally started planning.
Have I already started buying green things and then decided green is no longer a color? Yes…

Go to a paint store, and they have color pallets. It helps.

I’m so glad my husband and I went and got married by Elvis in Las Vegas 😂 There was no way I was going through this stress. 🤣😂 Good luck! ❤💐☀️

My bridesmaids wore black and their shoes were the color of my flowers, 🌺.

My daughter went with white and sage green with pink & white flowers. The bridesmaid wore a floral dress which would have gone with any colour choice – maybe that’s a possibility?

I would choose a metallic element and work out from there. Your colors will fall in place! Let me know if you need more ideas.

I’m so thankful I had my beautiful wedding in “simpler” times! Yours will be beautiful also. Just relax, spin a wheel to pick the color scheme and roll with it! You will be the star of the show and that is all that matters! Best wishes💐

maybe you could experiment with different tints of a color? You said you were doing white flowers and black bows, so you could try working with something like silver and grays or ivory and tans, just a suggestion!

I went to a wedding last September and she picked teal and it was sooo pretty! It was the brides favorite color. What's your favorite color Jordan?

Figure out the space you are going to be using and put some ribbons next to your wedding dress. Look at which one you like most – that's your colour palette for the bridesmaid dress colours and you can always go with a plain colour and an accent ribbon that can go in your flowers, centre pieces and ribbons on your guests chairs.

You could also mock up a table with those colours and see which one works best in person. Pictures are always altered to look perfect, you don't want to be disappointed.

You could always not have a color pallet. Let all the bridesmaids have same dress just all different colors. My niece did this and it was so pretty.

Try to think of the time of year and
Surround yourself in the colors of the season and then imagine yourself with the bridesmaids around you while outside with those seasonal colors or inside decorated colors. That may help stick to a color palate. You are being influenced by the current seasonal changes which are changing by holidays which make you change your color choices for your wedding day.

Print photos out. Lay them out on a poster board. Heck you might have 3 or 4 boards. You’ll be happy no matter what.

Aww Jordan-it will be beautiful no matter what you decide. Most important thing is that YOU are the Star that day along with your future husband and that’s all that really matters. You will get it all together and it’s going to be magical. Can’t wait to see wedding pictures of you both! You guys are such a handsome couple and I know you will be looking absolutely beautiful! Enjoy every moment honey as you have been!
