Watching this as invited to my freinds wedding, never been to one and want to make sure I don't mess up as it's an incredibly important day for her.
I have a question. My nephew is getting married in north carolina mountains next year and he and his fiance are asking for $300.00 gifts per couple so that others can give a gift for them for their honeymoon.
I told him I will make that decision Not you. HE said he needed to know how much WE intend to give them, when we make the 11 hour drive up there from Tampa Fl.
I told him since its going to cost us rather alot of money for gas, a place to stay, you are NOT Going to get 300.00 from us, for your Honeymoon to Europe.
THE invitations were not by mail but by email to save them stamps. They used THE KNOT.
They told this on their invitation that they wanted this amount so they know how to budget for their honeymoon in ITaly and France.
How would you both deal with it. She is a traveling pediactric nurse, he is still in college living in a nice apart they both pay for.. how nervy are these two kids in their 20's to ask for everyone to give them a set amount.
I also told him that he forgot that when he was 12 years old my husband and i worked very hard to get him his first camera, he only had it for 3 weeks after i paid $350.00 for it, i had to work all week to pay for it, and then after he got bored with it, his mother sold it for $500.00 and profited from this.
I told him your money is in the camera, because you are so rude and tacky to ask us for that kind of money ask your mom where is the $350.00 camera that you sold for $500? I told him i already gave you your gift i AM NOT GIVING YOU ANY GIFT.
How would you handle this??
Thank you modern lady
We had a winter wedding and we planned it that way! Everyone loved all the lanterns and candles–we had hundreds of them (we bought some, borrowed some, rented some), and all of the candles and lanterns were white. The entire wedding was white and Medium Blue (Twilight blue) with silver accents and everything was done in the CLASSIC style. No country or shabby chic! No offense to those who like that aesthetic, but we wanted our wedding to look very traditional. However, we added in some Eastern European touches because my husband is originally from Eastern Europe and I'm American. So many people told us that the appreciated getting an actual paper invitation instead of just an emailed one or a general one from a wedding website. We didn't realize that a lot of people had stopped doing this, but we didn't want to cut this out of the budget.
Very good tips .
yawww the focus thooo~ on point
OMG thx
Good advice! My daughter had printed on her wedding programs for her guests to please turn off their phones and enjoy the day with the bride and groom. Hint hint—no phones and no social media!!!
I love your videos. Could you possibly create a video about proper wedding attire? I struggle with the attire during the fall and winter months. Thanks!
If you don't mind, could you possibly make a video on Graduation guest etiquette and what to wear?
