i set up all my envelopes with stamps while I was drawing my guidelines, but I am relatively confident in my rudimentary calligraphy skills and I know my loved ones won’t care if theyre a little imperfect as long as they get an invitation lol.
Edit: also if you have a 4H pencil, that’s my favorite for guidelines – they erase so nicely

Would you have an example of address to two people?

I took an honest to goodness typing class in high school and we learned to count the letters AND spaces in the phrase/title that we needed to center and divide the number in half. So if , for example you wanted to find the center point of Becca Courtice… that’s 14… so the midpoint is between the C and o in the last name. This became my secret weapon as a teacher when putting up bulletin boards ! 😝

How do you erase the pencil without it smudging the ink? Do you wait until it dries and do it later? Thanks

Do I need to pay for YouTube to be able to download your template?

Hi Becca, I'm so happy you are back. Straight line lettering is So Important, helps make up for imperfect writing. Big hug😊

Great video! So helpful! The way I like to center words/phrases/addresses is to roughly sketch them in the size and font that I'm going to be writing. Then just fold in half and there's pretty much your center without any measuring.😊
