How to DJ a Wedding….. DJ GIG LOG
When I first started djing weddings, I scoured the interwebz in search of a thorough guide that would help me understand what I needed to do. I never really found all encompassing videos that laid it out well in one video, however I did find a ton of channels that had extensive catalogs of…

Ms. Pink Dress was the star of this show. A mainstay on the dancefloor! LOL
How many up lights do you own and how many do you typically take to a gig? I’m sure the size of the venue dictates that, but generally
How many hours was this service?
Gear set up is slick!
Hey bro can you send a video or message on what lights you have for the dance floor and how you set them up? I don’t have any and need pointers
What are you running your ceremony music off? I pad or Laptop? Also are you using a software for your ceremony music device? I have been a DJ for over 20 years and i still am learning better ways and more efficient ways to perform. Your content is Greatly Appreciated!!! Thank you
I aspire to do this one day!! This also just showed me how effective uplights look, really no need for other (tacky lazers) lighting. Cheers!
Good djing
Top 5 wedding set on YouTube, that hip hop set was tough
Need to keep the camera still.
Sennheiser mics and EV speakers, that's a lot of money invested in equipment but good choices… Personally I am starting out with Alto speakers and Phenyx Pro mics to keep my startup costs down. Haven't had any issues with quality though on either brands. I don't skimp out on lighting or the mixer though, I absolutely saved some money on the audio equipment to use for better lighting and add-ons live low lying fog and a couple snow machines, December weddings are huge here in Arizona…
Where did you get the DJ table?
Why aren’t you using the everse to power the mic?
🎉 Great song choices for your mixes.
I don't think people really appreciate great transitions like us dis haha. The way I would've came up to you hyping you up after the first transition haha
Nice! I use 6ft kitchen rug runners with antislip rubber bottoms to cover cables, so much better than tape!
Great blog brava
Can you give me the links to purchase the mics and generator you use to power your equipment for the ceremony?
Those lights are dope. I went w the 3x18w IR/wifi controlled up lights. I have about 20 of those little RF 1 mini lights. They’re cool they do their little thing. Not bad for what they are. Slowly, putting together my arsenal of lights, etc. Your set up looks really good. Just wanted to say that. I’m just getting started been renting my equipment out as far as sound and lights things like that.
What are you using to play the music for ceremony?
I love this, im a new DJ and want to learn as much as possible do you have an IG that I can get some tips from you?
Nice one bruv! Clean setup and great mix!
Great content! I love your booth and I love your stand! If you don't mind me asking, which uplights did you decide to go with
Thanks for putting up consistent work right now. Not too many others are doing so. Salute.
New subscriber and loving your vibe, homie! I've been an on-air radio personality and artist for years, got into DJing gigs about 2 years ago and just started doing weddings this past season. Really cool to see you break it all down like this and I think I can speak for anyone in the wedding game, new or old, they could take some tips from these gig logs. Very helpful info and you clearly got a good thing going. Keep crushing it and inspiring!
