Is there any room for stories in the process about the bride / groom / family ! I want to do something really unique for my niece. Something creative. She’s a wedding planner and I want to add something unique unique
You lost me as soon as you said this was “your” show, the wedding is for no one but those that are being married, keep it simple and don’t make it about yourself if you are officiating a wedding

How MANY weddings should a person expect in their lives….always thought this should be a ONE time event in a persons lifetime ! Possibly understand making ONE marriage MISTAKE (barring death). However…the whole 'meaning' seems to lose something, otherwise !!
Excellent advice. Thank you so much for your tutorial as I will be officiating my cousin’s wedding in a month. I’m a high school teacher so public speaking is a breeze for me, but outside of family funerals I’ve yet to address this type of crowd. Looking forward to the big day.

Is unprecedented to officiate your ceremony? I am the groom. I've never heard of it being done before, but this is what feels best for us and what we're doing. Any recommendations on how to go about this?

I'm officiating my first wedding. They are wanting to do a unity candle so the brides daughter feels included as if they are coming as a new family. At what point do I add that in. Before/ after vows? They also want love is patient love is kind verse. When is the best time to add these things in the ceremony?
