I did the same thing I asked to help us. and she did. My problem was that I needed her to drive me around. I have polio on my legs and it was hard to get around, My boyfriend at that time was trying to come so we could do some of the work since my mom worked at that time, we got married and the wedding dress gave it to me for only at 3 hundred dollars and gave it cost close to one thousand dollars and gave me the pouch where the people put the envelopes. She also called for a photographer. He had fun. he stood up to the end. My surprise was that there were no liquor. this was in 86 and still together. 2 kids and 3 beautiful granddaughters. Everything is so beautiful. lots of blessing to the newlyweds.

What a fabulous video of what appeared to be a fantastic wedding ❤️. Sometimes I wonder if this shouldn’t be what we all should do. There is so much stress that goes into wedding planning. I can’t help but feel that this just isn’t what God intended for such a special day!

What a great video! It looks like you did an amazing job. One thing I would suggest is borrowing things from people. We had a wedding around Christmas, and decided to use Christmas decor. I had a friend who had a Christmas wedding that she made lots of centerpieces for. I borrowed them and added to them for a couple of buck per centerpiece. She was thrilled with the results and used a lot of the stuff to decorate her house every year for Christmas. I also borrowed some things from my aunt and a couple of friends. My decor cost very little. Also, Tulle is very cheap. It's also cut and go with no hemming. Another suggestion is to find a restaurant who will let you use their party room free with the purchase of food. We had a really delicious Tex-Mex meal for he cost of food and drinks. They had no problem with us bringing our wedding cake either.
If you can, make your own bouquet, and never mention the word "wedding." Prices go up triple when you attach the word "wedding" to anything. At worst, you can get some fresh hydrangeas, and wrap the stems with ribbon (there are tons of bouquet videos out there.) For my wedding I found some fake antique roses that looked real and used those with some faux greenery.
