Hey this was really helpful! Thanks for sharing
Omg love this !
1. Get to know your subject
2. make them feel at ease.
3.Choose the right environment for the person!
4. Movement based poses (like a movie scene)
5. Zoom lenses
6. Shoot fast to have a good selection and capture different faces
“Thinking of your scene like a movie” is a great line I’m going to think about going forward! Thanks SE!
I just found out my style of photography is candid. I found your video and i love it already!
How does the GFX100 fare under this style of shooting? Is the autofocus good enough to keep up?
Damn your style is pure, can’t seem to stop watching these videos! 🥳
Those shots at the end were amazing ! That hair and golden glow 😍
Would have been nice if you had shown photos in the video (not at the end)!
this is a very, very easy couple to take photographs of. It basically doesn't really matter what you do or say as a photographer if they that naturally good looking/outgoing/charismatic
Hearing the audio of how you actually directed the couple would have made this video. The couple look so comfortable in so many poses, it can’t be all candid, they might as well be pro models.
thanks again for the advices ✌🏻 but I have a question what's your favorite aperture when you shoot couple ? 📸 peace
Soliddddd. Thanks, Sam!
Would love if you would consider in the future 'bringing us along' so we can hear some of the ways you pose and give prompts to your couples, models
Your candids are so great and was wondering what you tell them!
I want to have You on my wedding day! I’m from Poland, is it possible? 😭🤩🤩
Would be more helpful to see the final shots side by side as you narrate how you got them rather than seeing the shots in the end. Great tips otherwise! Thanks, Sam!
Bro….at 4:50 were you fucking gliding like a South Park character?! Do you have on Heely’s or something?
Hey Samuel, your tutorials are at the peak quality. Keep the bar high, please)
A long time follower here since the Andrew Kearns vlogs. This video helped alot but I am more curious as to what you say to the couple during the shoot. You let them be them or do whatever they usually do and act but you gotta have some input there as well. Thanks alot sir!
Dude, seriously, please EDIT YOUR VIDEOS! This is verborrhea – you say “who these people are” 12 times in 7 minutes. Please…
Pretty much let themselves be them and take a lot of pictures
What aperture range are you working with in shoots like these? Especially when 2 or more people are involved and to be sharp. Thanks!
Thank you so much Sam, best as always! 🙂
Love your videos!!!
Always like you’re content. Super helpful!
Man I see so much happiness in these where most people do still posing for couples shoots. Even though these kind of shoots aren’t what you normally do, you’re so dang good at it 🤘
Why is Canon's mirrorless cameras and lenses bigger then their DSLR predecessors???
Good content video. But I think we all would like to see how you actually direct the couple on set (with voice instead of just music). That would definitely make the content even better.
Love the video Sam!!
Nice tips 🙂
😍😍👍 Nice
The R5 flip out screen can help with ergo situations.
Nice video! Do you still have/use your fuji gfx 100?
Great tips! Thank you!
Love from india, kerala❣️
Love the aesthetic!
lol. pretty early. good video
This vids are what I need during class breaks
