What a helpful video! Thank you
Great Video and Great Advice. My ears really perked up when you mentioned a "Call Sheet". I never thought of that for a photo shoot. I would love to get a copy of your call sheet. I have so many problems with people not showing up on time, wearing the wrong things, not being prepared for the shoot, some even didn't know there was a shoot that day. A call sheet would be great. Thanks.
What auto focus would you use to photograph 40 people standing on stairs in five rows? All faces need to be sharp. Using Sony 35 mm GM lens
which lens?
amazing
Thanks, quick question, did you use a Nikon D850 to shoot this video?
One of the best videos on the subject. ❤ I’ve revisited this video a number of times. Thank you.
How do you keep from getting cross shadows with 2 lights?
Just another tip put the most recent girlfriend or boyfriend at the edge, so they are easier to crop out.
Great advice! From shooting early in the morning when people are fresh and about to start their day. Taking charge and politely letting people know this is a photo shoot and not a B.S. session is of vital importance. Thanks for posting this.
I can't thank you enough, had a last minute requirement to do this but I am a videomaker first and needed some quick tips, the hand in the back and I need to pee was so funny I said it as a joke on set and everybody laughed and that's actually the first pose they did lol
Great info and advice. Thanks!
Excellent video. Needed this to prepare for 150 panoramic group pic for graduation tomorrow morning. Thank you!
Great video with valuable tips. Wish you had addressed one issue that I always encounter when doing a group: one or more head wind up blocking the head behind them. Or the person behind shifts and looks as though he/she is hiding from the camera. It seems that no matter how authoritatively you "take charge", this invariably happens for one or two of the group.
Oh man I really needed this for this weekend. Thank you so much!! You have a new subscriber 🙌😍
Brilliant stuff!
Great tips! Thank you!
Camera companies are making everything complicated. In olden days we adjust the aperture for strong depth
Also. Focus at the man inthe middle. That's all.
Perfect ! You solve my questions !
WOW, this was so informative. THANK YOU.
great video J.P.!! I came back looking for your video since a client wants me to capture a large group of people approx 200 yikes! any tips will be truly appreciated.
Loved your energy, and your tips. Quick and straight to the point. Much appreciate all the hard work you've put into putting this one together. Bravo!
I belong to a photographer’s group and someone had a question about taking a photo of a group of people (80 plus).
Am I allowed to copy some of your photos from your tutorial posted on YouTube March 2017. I’m planning on posting your YouTube site with some of the photos.
Just trying to help a fellow photographer.
Thank you
