Seriously thank you so so much! This gives me so much more clarity!
You’re so awesome! Thank you 🤗
Do you have a contract template?
Thank you
Would you say one hot meal is required for let's say, a 3-hour long block? I have clients having a short, simple wedding only wanting my services for 3 hours. There will be a dinner following the wedding but it would be within that 3 hour block as well.
Eric this is amazing 😍 thankyou so much 🤍🤍🤍🤍
Dude, this was such an amazing source of help and inspiration. Thank you so much for this video. ❤
Hey sofware did you use to make this contract
Thank you!
Thank you
Do you have a contract template we can download?
I just had a horrible client that refused to pay after I did all the editing and 2 days of filming and photographing. This contract would have saved me so much money.
Oh I've had harassment by church staff, security, clergy, etc, other church members that are not involved, parking attendants on-site, more so at Catholic Churches, they can be really strict, and what I and the client agreed on, the owners of the venue (church) , clergy, security staff etc, were left in the dark and not informed. That really pissed me off.
I used to video Live Stream weddings and funerals. I don't do it anymore, way too many issues and misunderstandings. Some experiences were good, though, but the ones that were not really got to me.
I love this video because now I shoot still photography for corporate events, parties, BTS (behind the Scenes) on red carpets, celebrity events, movie and music video sets, and even concerts.
I do not do weddings or funerals anymore because of clashes with venue staff or third-party vendors. Done. Over with.
Lower Stake gigs are better for me but still need contracts like the one in this video. Thanks Eric !!!
I think going with a photographer that gives the rights of the photos to the bride and groom is the way to go. Family and friends may have to pay for photos. When the photographer has the rights to the photos you won't necessarily be able to give them to family and friends. You can end up spending a lot of money. If you have the rights you can do whatever you want with them because they are YOUR special day.
Thank you so much for this!!! It was incredibly helpful! I love your ethics and standpoint on sharing and educating!
That was super helpful ❤️🤝🏻
Thanks bruh gaddamn hahaha
Is this contract uploaded somewhere?
To Eric and all professional photographers that helped making the sharing of this template possible, a big THANK YOU! 🙏
Osam information
good shit 💯
Very nice videos and continue your journey
A contract is so important when doing business, esp for small business and freelancers.. this can be overlooked and overwhelming to put together yourself so thank you so much for this … and for free??? So nice of you 😭
Yes like everyone else’s has said, thank you! 😃
Thank so much, great information. Is it possible to link the document on Google drive?
I think there's a typo on .jpg in the photo/archive section. Also I think one important thing to have in any photography contract is a line or two indicating that by booking the client for a certain date you are turning down other potential clients on that date, as well as the fact that you have to do some some work in preparation for the event. Just simply stating that something is non-refundable doesn't mean a judge will side with you in court, you want it to be clear that you are turning down other work or have already started doing some work after the deposit was paid.
Another thing is sometimes judges can be weird about the term "retainer" and only see it as a term that specifically refers to lawyers and their services.
I had a wedding earlier this year where the DJ had a five person team and on that team there was a videographer. I never said anything to the couple but in my contract it has exclusivity terms. Plus the DJ was a jerk bag, and I never say that about other vendors.
Some great ideas/tips in here, thanks for sharing this!
Thanks ♥️
Thank you so much for sharing all this information 🙏🏻
I’ll be replacing handshakes with real contracts from here on out
And now you're sharing valuable information for FREE?!?!?!🤯
