What happens if you lose your job? People are dumb enough to take out wedding financing will probably pay for it long after the divorce

I was little bummed when we couldn’t have a big wedding because we were unable to save that much money. I always thought that families paid for it and we definitely don’t have that privilege lol. Little I knew a lot of couples just get a loan 😧 crazy

If you cannot afford a huge wedding don't do it. Just do it at the court house and get it over with. Use that money saved towards building your new family foundation/home. Every new family needs a real home to help guarantee a success family. A tree will not grow in a flower pot, the roots need space to expand.

It’s the marriage that’s important, NOT the wedding. This is crazy. Get married in a park or parents backyard. Spend money on buying a house.

If you want a successful marriage, spend more time, efforts and monies to prepare for your marriage's life not the wedding day. Save money together, never goes into debt, for the wedding. My wife and I did it almost 30 years ago.
