Another great video Justin and as always triggers a few questions from me.
1. With the Personal Connection, is it OK for the antagonist to be a 'friend' of the protagonists' best friend?
The antagonist does show empathy in a situation that involves the protagonist but he has his personal agenda for doing so… which leads to the next question.

2. Should the antagonist make the protagonist feel like they have done them a favor? If so, should the protagonist respond favorably? With the storyline I have in mind, if the protagonist does, it'll be akin to 'and they lived happily ever after' which as you've said in your previous videos there is always conflict and nothing is ever perfect. Not responding favorably is what I have in mind and will hopefully provide a great nail-biting end to the novel.

I will no doubt be watching this video again!
