Great video, A month ago, my five-year relationship came to an end. I really can't stop thinking about the love of my life, who made the decision to leave me. I've done everything in my power to win him back, but it's all in vain, and I can't imagine my life with anyone else. I genuinely miss him and just can't stop thinking about him, even though I've tried my hardest to stop thinking about him. I'm not sure why I'm saying this here.

I have no clue about the circumstances that led to Dr. Shefali's decision to divorce her prior husband.
Making a statement such as: I'm marrying my true-self and divorcing my inauthentic-self, and that that should essentially be the basis of marriage and divorce …
is essentially double-speak. And no you should follow a principles oriented moral compass. But ironically for Dr. Shefali, principles oriented morality is normally aligned with social norms in societies that are not decadent.
I'm sincerely trying to understand, even though this might sound like a curve-ball.
Disclaimer: This is a small snippet of Dr. Shefali's story and lesson about her marriage and divorce. I will assume that there was no abuse in her previous marriage.
What happened to the authentic-self of Dr. Shefali's oath and commitment to resolve conflict through hardships in her previous marriage?
Are we pulling an Orwellian stunt with dubious language such as: … marrying my true-self and divorcing my inauthentic-self?
Again, assuming no real abuse, divorce is exactly the opposite of marriage. Marriage is positive and divorce is negative. Marriage is good. Divorce is bad, although sometimes a necessary bad.

Dont we want to educate people on what is marriage and why it is needed for the next GEN? People can find themselves and their value, but it should not be in the cause of others lives.

I went through a lot of financial crisis during my divorce, I had to raise my two kids alone, Currently I'm living smart and frugal with my money. Bought my second house already. Saving and investing lifestyle made it possible for me; even till now I earn monthly through passive income. I'm planning on retiring when my kids finish college..
