They didn’t fix the touch screen issue in this update. I just got the iPhone 16 pro max and i hate texting on this. I thought it was my screen protector but it isn’t. And the battery sucks. My 13 pro max felt way better.

I had an issue on IPhone 14 Pro Max with the camera in iOS 18.0.1, I wanted to take some quick photos of some documents and my phone started lagging for some reason, my camera wasn’t responsive, the photos that I took weren’t even shown in my gallery and the temperature went high, every time I exited the camera my widgets went black for a while, I tried to power off my phone and the vibration didn’t work properly, I tried opening and operate the camera quickly but it lagged a lot, I also did a Geekbench 6 test and my scores were 2501 single core 5769 multi core, I powered off my iPhone for a couple of minutes and now everything is better than before, my Geekbench score went to 2661 single core and 6912 for multi core. Besides that everything works fine, better than iOS 18.0
Why nobody talks about time zone location problem
I updated, then regular SMS wouldn't send/not receive anymore – iMessage worked fine. So I disabled iMessages, few minutes later Re-enable it.
Sending regular SMS works fine now. Either bug or carrier Error 🤔 NO RCS where I live yet.
How is the battery performance? I am ip15 pro, ios18.0

I also noticed when you’re texting the icon application emoji when you tap it it doesn’t go on the message. It’s like stuck on it.
My phone keeps on restarting from the home screen like if I press or go to YouTube it’s only restarts and goes back to home screen where I type in my passcode again

It didn’t work I’m still having trouble with the touchscreen i’m just hoping that Apple knows that a lot of people are still having problems with the touchscreen on the older phones as well if they’re able to download the new update.
And I hope they release like a little update patch for this!

I updated to iOS 18 had bug issues so I downgrade to iOS 17. I will never update again because all the problems are caused on my phone.
