I was rooting for them but he compromised to much, the balance was thrown off. Their lifestyle was too different from one another, she enjoys drinking, socializing, partying, crowds. He’s sober and needs privacy to help cope with his sobriety. Ben had that with Jennifer G. She understood him and his needs and supported him. JLO focused too much on romanticizing her relationship rather than nurturing it, protecting it and keeping it safe. Ben tried hard to appeal to JLO’s needs but his wants fell on deaf ears. The catalyst was the documentary and movie. JLO should of listened to Ms Jane Fonda’s advice.

Looks like he makes sacrifices for her

She just seems like a black hole of need. Like no amount of attention or approval or admiration can fill the bottomless pit of low self worth but she will never stop trying to fill it. This is why they say narcissists can't heal, because they are nearly incapable of self awareness. Humility is too costly to them. Watching the documentary of her film, she is consistently rude, cold, hard, enrolling a whole crew of people into her obsessive storytelling. About herself. Typical diva stuff. She's not a malignant narcissist, it's more covert. She keeps it all subtle and then insists that nothing is more important than her creative self expression, it's all in the name of art. I was blown away that she showed private letters from her husband to her writers without asking him. Ben seems so broken and destroyed from his own failings that he has resigned himself to just going along with her whims. The whole thing is all so weird because these people are in their FIFTIES. When do they actually learn, grow up, gain wisdom? JLo is incredibly talented, she's a wonderful dancer, made a very creative project and is so fit and beautiful for her age which is rare. But she continues to not be able to see herself.

Jlo is addicted to fame. She can not just take a beat and live her life because as a normal person living a normal life her deep rooted insecurities surface. She should take two years away from the public eye and find out who she is when she is not Jlo.

It’s true she had 4 marriages and different relationships, but she has never talked bad about any of them. She is been a hardworking woman independent with her own money 💴 with out asking anyone opinion. If men have not valued her is not because she sucks is because they have not understand her. She is fabulous sophisticated strong woman at the end also a mother and friend.

Today as word spreads of their upcoming divorce, I look forward to seeing Ben smile again. He has been miserable looking since they married. It wasn't meant to be the first time, and the second time she screwed the hell out of it with her fakery and grandiose narcissism.
