Is this something people actually tolerate? Id never put this much effort into another person over myself because of their weakness or short comings. If everyone tried to emotionally/socially/mentally perfect themselves to the best of their abilities then significant others would naturally mesh more making for a better household as a whole especially for children. NEEDING to treat your significant other like theyre in a highschool guidance counselors office is NOT someone you want to spend much time with if any time at all. Id rather focus on my future to perfect myself before dragging anyone through the mud with MY shortcomings so why would i settle for someone selfish enough to do it to me? Men and women need to do better across the board WITHOUT A HYPOTHETICAL CRUTCH. DO BETTER.
Never argue with a woman. Also, never tell a woman about your feelings or your problems. There, problem solved.
This whole scenario… if your partner is stupid to a point that you need to resort to “training”. Not communicating, training, like he’s a dog and can’t get your meaning. Wouldn’t you feel lonely in this relationship???? Who do you talk to if not to your partner??? A therapist?? Isn’t it a farce???
Why would they go straight to being offended? May be because they’re juvenile? It’s what they did when they were a kid. And they would not change their whole life because everyone dances around their shortcomings, never tell them straight truth, and so he never sees the reason to change, to evolve into an adult?..
So many advices but his own daughter got divorced within months. Start preaching at home Dr.!

Jeez, we just had a fight because I did not praise him for trying to do what I asked him to do for me, because he did it but not perfectly. I feel so bad now and I don't know how can I make him feel positive and safe in my presence again.

Nice video, I'm still struggling with the end of my 7-year relationship. My significant other, who I considered to be the love of my life, left me a month ago, and I can't seem to shake the constant thoughts of him. Despite my efforts to bring him back into my life, nothing has worked, and I feel frustrated and hopeless. I've tried to move on, but my heart still longs for her, and I don't see myself with anyone else. I apologize for sharing this here, but I just can't seem to stop missing him.

I agree, with what someone said, in order for this to work, you gave got to have 2 people who are emotionally mature and wont get defensive when you bring your feelings and thoughts to them.
