We have a wedding to go to in december and I'm thinking of gifting them hand knitted socks because those are fun and usefull, but I'm afraid i's not good enough.
My brother doesn't call himself a minimalist, but he pretty much is. I've just given him an envelope full of cash for his birthday and Christmas for the last 10 years. Cash wedding registries are great!

I think sometimes the expectations are too high. But I think any gift how small it is can really serve its purpose.
