Hi!! I just bought the hydro grip primer. It’s water based so do I need to have water based concelar and foundation too?
I have really clog prone skin the moment I over moisturize I breakout of get a 6 month long comedones. A thick balmy moisturizer does the trick for my dewy look but man it's breaks me out so bad. Like I worked hard on my skin for a whole months and knew what I was doing on my engagement. So I blamed up and had the best makeup but the days following showed the consequences😭😭😭
Please recommend any affordable non clogging thick moisturizer 😭😭😭😂

UPDATE: It works for SEAsian weather! Make up lasted longer than expected from 9am to 7pm with no touch ups but with some oilyness.
So excited to find this video. Will try this tomorrow for our photoshoot — hopefully it will make my makeup last longer under the sun.
any tips for using matte foundation? i tried to cover my blemishes but then the foundation is already dries 😢

I used a Japanese brand called Fancl. I use their sunblock and my foundation stays all day. It is summer and humid where I live, so I know it really works. I use toner , water based moisturizer, followed by the Fancl sunblock , then liquid foundation.
The problem I’m having is I apply my products in this order: one serum on damp skin (hyaluronic acid),eye cream, moisturizer, sunscreen and elf power grip. The powder grip appears to be lifting my sunscreen. How do I fix that?

I have a quick question, not sure what I’m doing wrong. If I apply several moisturizers under my makeup, even if I wait in between, by the time I get to my foundation it pills. How do you avoid pilling???
