Does the b10 battery drain while in standby like it does on the a10?

At 1:50 Vanessa said the R5 turns a 135mm lens to a 200mm. Her R3 does that (crop-sensor) so 1:1.6. The R5 is a full-frame camera, so 1:1. Other Canon crop-sensor mirrorless cameras include: EOS R100, EOS R50, EOS R10, and EOS R7. Sports guys love these for the extra reach out-of-camera. Sounds like Vanessa loves them for reaching into reception dance floors. I’ve never thought of that. Very cool idea.

Wonderful channel. Vanessa could still take outstanding photos with a $500 set-up.

Why the EF to RF mount with control ring? instead of the one that doesnt have it, and its only $129.
Also I'm getting $7500 and looking to get a new mirrorless setup, finally. I shoot sports and portraits/weddings; and decided on a R5 as my base camera; and only have $4500 to use on lenses. So the 70-200 RF is prob my goto sports lens then cant decide between the 28-70 f/2 and the new 24-105 f2.8.
Would there be another lens I'm missing? 15-35 RF 2.8 is the only one i'd do. Thanks for any input.

The sound of those nails on the narbox and iPad was rather grating.

Hi Vanessa. You mentioned you use R3 for the reception. Which lens do you use with the R3? I use R6 with 28-70mm and a flash on top until the entrance is over. Then I change to a lighter prime lens for the rest of the night.

I guess a change has been made in your bag. Your secret jewel 135mm is now RF one. For quite some time I'm in a dilemma over buying a RF 70-200mm f/2.8 ( I've got an EF 70-200mm f/2.8 mk 2 that's a gym dumbbell) or a RF 135mm. I love the versatility of 70-200mm lens but the weight holds me back from using it more often. The new RF version of 70-200 is considerably lighter and compact. On the other hand RF 135mm is even lighter and it goes down to f/1.8 but lacks the versatility. Whatever I decide to buy I won't make a mistake. Thank you for making another great video. I like your videos for posing wedding couples.

Question: since your custom strap is no longer available, do you have any other suggestions?

Who’s fronting the replacement iPad when a drunk wedding guest drops and smashes the iPad? Great idea but scary at the same time.

5:36, I personally prefer the EL-1 because its so well integrated with the R bodies and have a solution for using the profoto and having the EL-1 on camera wirelessly trigger the profoto. You just pickup a phottix receiver, sync it with your el-1 4 digit code, check for green led (means the flash and receiver are connected), then mount your profoto trigger to the phottix and hang it on your b10's light pole and SHABANG you get to have your cake and eat it too! I recently had two profoto A2's at a b-day event triggered that way and it was swizzeeet!

Even though I shoot Nikon, and I really like your videos… but this video overwhelmed me… your camera gear is more expensive than my 2019 Jeep! Some poor soul will think they need to spend $20k to get started… oh my! very disappointed…

I was considering the 135 for my next purchase. I primarily shoot sports but also senior portraits and I've wanted an upgrade to my 85/1.8 for portraits and something that can also focus faster for some action photography in poorly-lit gyms. The reminder that I can switch to a 1.6 crop sold me! Thank you!

Thank you for sharing all of you contents with us. I saw the canon 85 RF in person and it's bigger than people think. Beautiful lens.

How many ppl are in your entourage to assist switching out gear and managing the devices? This is a great reveal but looks hard if single-handed.

Also, what do you think about renting gear as-needed, instead of purchasing (esp. Profoto & Canon, no third party)?
