I have 1 pre-wedding event and then my wedding (both venues are 1.5hrs away from my home). And I'm leaving for my honeymoon the next day. However, I do not drink alcohol and my flight is at 10PM the following night so I'm hoping that'll be enough time to recover.
What's the difference between the tasks/duties of a wedding planner and a wedding reception manager? As a matter of fact, do wedding receptions have a professional manager?

Tip from an actual wedding vendor who has seen brides crying at how badly their shoes hurt: if you buy new heels for your wedding WEAR YOUR SHOES BEFORE YOUR WEDDING!!! Break them in as much as you can or you will regret it

Me and my fiancé are planning to leave either the day after or 2 days after wedding we don’t drink at all we both personally just don’t like the taste of alcohol so we aren’t thinking about hangovers it’s deciding if we will be packed for the honeymoon😂

Day after a wedding is normal in my family as like a hungover relax, someone makes breakfast and coffee and enjoy the company of the family kind of day.
I know not all families are like this, but mine is a very tight-nit Italian family, and anytime we take together, we love ❤❤

Your first mistake was spending that much on shoes, especially shoes no one is going to see. My mom wore white ballet flats cause not a sole even saw her feet

I left the day after my wedding for our honeymoon and felt great. We hadn’t had alcohol at the wedding. Not a tea totally, just didn’t want to be drunk for my wedding night. My shoes were $12 from a local consignment shop. Best friends still 20 years later.
You should take the shoes back. They’ll either repair, replace or refund.
I’m glad I didn’t spend too much on my shoes. They were silver heels from Aldo for less than $30. I honestly didn’t even wear them for that long and you could only see the front anyways.
