🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
00:00 🤖 The video provides a tutorial on how to use Optimizely for A/B testing, multivariate testing (MVT), personalization, and program management.
01:08 🛠️ Optimizely is implemented on a website by copying and pasting a script into the site's header. It also supports custom integrations with analytics and other tools.
03:11 🧪 To set up tests in Optimizely, you navigate to the "Experiments" tab and choose from A/B tests, multivariate tests, or personalization campaigns.
06:25 🎯 You can specify the target audience for your tests, including criteria like location, device, and more. Rules and conditions determine when and where the test runs.
10:55 📊 Optimizely provides reporting on test results, showing metrics, variations, and their impact on success metrics. It also includes a "holdback" to measure the impact of personalization campaigns.
20:48 🛠️ Optimizely requires setting up a recommender service for recommendation tests, and they provide code for it.
21:16 📰 You can customize the content, layout, and algorithms for recommendation zones in Optimizely.
22:51 🧩 You can specify events and data to be pulled into the recommendation engine based on your page setup.
24:30 📊 Optimizely's program management tool helps organize and prioritize tests, assign tasks, and track progress.
28:43 🗂️ Prioritizing tests is easier with custom scoring and linking experiments to ideas in Optimizely's program management tool.

Would this apply to Server side testing as well?
This is very helpful! Thank you. I am using Adobe Target to run 6 personalization experiences for unique audiences. Does it make sense to analyze lift and control if each experience is targeted to a unique audience? Also, my team is not doing a Hold(Control) audience for each experience. Would you recommend it?
wait i though your suppose to create two split test. and focus on which landing page has the most conversion then you can focus on changing the audience. so you can start to target them?
Great guide! Question….do you always need to set up an Implementation for a particular page before setting up an Experiment or are those two separate things? i.e. We can "just" run an experiment without setting up an Implementation?
Thank you for the great video. I am trying to see how can I use optimizley in my mobile app. Can it?
How can we simulate the users with different variations ?
This was a straightforward and helpful guide. I haven't used it yet, but now have the basics for using this tool 🙂. Thank you
Hey, if i want to test two versions of a specific page with 50% traffic split, how can I implement? Please help.
Optimus! Quite interesting learning how to apply it to boost CRO. Thanks from Argentina
Thanks for clearing up Optimizely for us!
Great video! How does the preview mode work? Does it pop open a new tab or redirect you to your own domain (e.g. mywebsite.com)? Or does it stay in optimizely.com?
