The checklist isn’t working for me. My email is spelt correctly and it’s not in my junk folder. I have hit the “download” button a few times and nothing happens and I am not receiving the email with checklist
I just got engaged in November, and our wedding is in September of next year! So it is not a little over 9 months away. Watching this video really helps me to understand why I feel overwhelmed lol
This made me feel so much better!
Fair warning for all future brides, nowadays you should probably start planning at the 18 month mark. At 15 months we thought we had a lot of time, until we started browsing florists and noticed that many were already booked out a month in advance. For reference, you typically book a florist 6 months out. We ended up hiring a partial wedding planner and she confirmed that with COVID wedding planning timelines have been pushed back significantly.
A way I’m saving money is for the vendors (DJ, Florist, Cater, Photographers, etc) I am using my family. I have tons of people who are good at anything I would want at my wedding so we’re definitely DIYing everything and I’m not spending a whole bunch of money.
My only question is how would you modify this to a shorter timeline? I’m probably going to have maybe 8-9 months to plan a wedding.
This is a great video but how do you strech out the timeline for 1.5 or 2 years out?
I forgot to add MY MOM on my guest list lol she’s my Bestfriend and I was working on every detail with her but I forgot to add her!!! 😂😂😂

I did the first 2 months of work in 1 week 😅 it’s been very stressful
Thank you Jaime! I feel like I’m going too fast! We’re ~9 months out and we’ve booked our venue, seeking out our ideal photographer and I’m already contacting cake vendors and caterers. Is that too early?
Ahh! Im now about 12 months out. EEP! This is super helping and I’m binging your videos. Thank you, Jaime! What a lifesaver!
Hey Jamie! Could you do a 24 months out video?!!
I like how she talks about "adding people we forgot" to the guest list and I'm over here like, "Who can I remove?"
Odd question do you guys have submissions for Day of Schedule from others?
Can you do a video on your thoughts about wedgewood weddings?
I literally need a wedding websites video!
Would you ever make a planning timeline for people trying to plan a wedding in 6 months or less? My wedding is next Month and I started planning back in May. I was SO STRESSED. But all off the planners I had come across were for a year's timeframe. I had felt paralyzed the first week but luckily I had booked all of the vendors (in which I regretted booking too soon for the venue but that's for another storytime) by June and the stress still didn't eleviate until August. A planner that reflects a shorter timeframe would have been EXRREMELY helpful.
Not sure why I'm watching this. When my wedding is 3 weeks out 🙈
But I just looooove your videos!!!
What are your opinions of save the dates in the form of an evite. I would hate to spend a lot of money on save the dates that immediately go in the trash but I don’t want to seem tacky
I’m in a wedding in January!!!!!!!!
I had my wedding 2 weeks ago today and was wondering if you could make a video on what to do with all the stuff you accumulated for the grand party!! I’m stuck with a ton of charger plates and things I will never use and no one wants to buy them from me 😞
Hi Jamie! There are a lot of us who would love to see a video with advice or tips on a military wedding (aka having to plan in very short time, cancellation insurance, etc)
I am 7 days out from my wedding … what will I do with all my time once it's over?!
My engagement was 10 months. I discovered a bridal show 4 months before my wedding day. It would have been immensely more helpful if I had discovered a bridal show earlier in my planning. It gave a lot of great ideas about vendors and other cute ideas.. Think about a bridal show earlier in your wedding planning.
I could use a video about de-stressing. I’m sure many brides could use more ideas.
We’re specifically dealing with custody/court stress in addition to the normal stress of blending our family. This includes unrelated/past people creating stress for us and those we do love.
Great, I’m getting married in 9 days, I’m sure this will not freak me out at all….😅
Ha! I thought budget was gonna be the first bullet
I wish it was a global panini…😂
I just started planning a week ago, but I'm 6 months out from the wedding, not 12 months.
The global panini definitely has me worried. I want to invite about 150 people but I'm not willing to have someone die as a result of attending my wedding.
Maybe I did things too early. We are 16 months out and I think I did everything in one month.
Venue (all-inclusive). Booked
Decor/ Coordination Booked
Dress: Downpayment made it will take 12 months its custom made
DJ: Booked
Photographers: Booked
Videographers: Booked
MUA & Hair: Booked but they are my mua and hairdresser
Hotel Block: Booked
Now, grad school is in full swing with working so im taking a break. I had 7 women in my family get married in the last few years so I had some vendors I was eyeing already. They were so nice and honored the prices previously paid instead of charging me their new prices.
We are 12 months from our wedding and your videos are incredibly helpful! Keep em coming!
