Great break down! Congratulations to you and yours husband and Many more years to come! My wedding was in 2009 it was a little bit over 30k . But its a lot of planning and money too it just depends on how many people you have. We had 300 plus guests at our wedding.

I don’t get the “my daughter will wear it” mindset. Her body shape may look different and it won’t suit her and she may think the dress is not her style. I just think “would you wear your MOM’s dress from the 80s/70s???” Because usually girls say heck no lol 😂

So happy to find a wedding that is "expensive" and hearing it being broken down because there's a trend lately with everyone doing the bare minimum bc it's just 'one' day – almost like they're competing to see who can do it for the cheapest. Glad to see other ppl like me who are ready to blo3w the budget for the perfect day lol!
Appreciate this video. Many videos talk about cutting the guest list. But many of those videos were very Eurocentric. As people of color, our cultures includes all the aunts and uncles, extended cousins, etc…. And this video is 🔥
