I don’t think any of these things would work for my marriage as my husband is a chronic drinker and this has led to our problems. I’ve prayed and prayed he can stop drinking but he seems to be getting worse. I can’t live like this anymore. As much as I don’t want to divorce, I think it may be best for my mental and physical health.

I don’t think begging pleading crying and fighting will help, it will only make things worse. If someone wants to go, let them go! Don’t give away your power and energy to those who don’t appreciate you. Just do the things that you like, go out with friends, sign up to a gym, listen to music and enjoy eating good meals! Show them that your happiness and emotional state is not dependent on their presence, respect yourself and don’t sit on your phone checking when he text you. This is Exactly what I’m doing now and I found someone else to talk with . He or she can never be your all in all. People will betray you, only Jesus is the One who will never fail you so find your stability in Jesus.
