Simple Vow Renewal Ceremony – FULL Sample Script

I'm thinking of making a short film, involving a wedding vow renewal. Having it taken place outside isn’t out of place, is it? Like outdoors on a simple hill with a sunset behind .

My husband and I are going to renew our vows for our ruby anniversary twelve days before Christmas. We thought it sweet back then, and still do. The Christmas season is intoxicatingly romantic for us, always has been. That's forty years we've been on this amazing ride called marriage. I've survived breast cancer and he has survived a triple by pass surgery and is struggling with COPD and congestive heart failure. We married when I was sixteen and he was twenty three and never looked back. (my mom and dad had to sign for me) we have two sons and two daughters and children two waiting in heaven from my miscarriages. The point of all this is hold onto God and each other. A very old song by the Judd's (Google it)🙂 "Love is alive" we're so excited to take the vows again, and live them joyfully every day. Love is alive and here by me.
