You should update some of this older content. It’s quite good, but your production values have improved so much.

I just can't imagine wearing a suit during hot summer days. It looks good on a photo but once you start sweating the illusion is gone. I can barely withstand a polo shirt. A suit would only work in heavily air-conditioned office space or something of that sort. Those "summer" suits actually work best during transitional periods.

I tend to run hot with most suits and I'm looking for a fresco suit. Are there brands that anyone would recommend?

To the contrary of what most people think some wools are the best option for summer. The perfect example is when used in boot socks, your foot will stay dry and will not stink.

Yep, I'm moving back to Yuma, AZ, so…I came here.

Interesting! One thing I don’t agree with though: no way I’d wear a (bow)tie during the hot days, I just leave my shirt open.

Vraiment très américaine comme mode, en Europe nous avons à la fois moins de rigueur et plus d’originalité

Hold on. You “can” wear an undershirt under your shirt? You ALWAYS wear an undershirt under your shirt. Not wearing an undershirt is like not wearing socks while wearing shoes.

That boutonniere is not right with the suit. Too much going on.

I watched the video because I love the channel and suits. But there is absolutely no suit made for summers of 45+ degrees in New Delhi, India.

Southerner here. I am a big fan of short sleeved seersucker shirts for everyday non-slob wear. Stylish and cool. I'll have to check out a fresco suit. Thanks.

Love the videos! I am a man who is looking to get into dressing more professionally and classically, but I always run way too hot, even in the winter. Could some of theses look work year rounds, such as linen suits? Also, any recommendations as to where to find a linen 3 piece? Thank you and keep up the good work!

Never ever wear a cornflower in Middle Europe. Those who live there will know why.

I used to have a seersucker suit, but that was back when I weighed 240 pounds. I really need to get a new one now that I am leaner.

I’m surprised you didn’t include a Solaro suite, which I think is a classic summer suite.

Speaker’s green suit is nice but needs ironing.

@vladimirart758 6 October 2024 - 7:15 pm

But linen is so soft and make strapes on the suit !!

Can you showcase some more conservative type suits? I get your style is what it is, but you always look like you're going to the Kentucky Derby!

Reply
@walterfoyt5985 6 October 2024 - 7:15 pm

I would have thought you would have included a Solaro suit.

Come to SE Florida in the summer… no suit but a bathing suit will do. Summertime entertainment includes cooking eggs on the asphalt. It's 100% humidity all the time to boot.

Is your Fresco green suit a linen, cotton or lightweight wool? It looks stunning!

Reply
@bimmercrazy1 6 October 2024 - 7:15 pm

Just out of curiosity, does anyone else wear a base layer (Under Armour or Long Johns) between their skin and their suit pants? I do this all year long to protect the wool suit and prevent frequent dry cleaning but was curious if I am the only one doing this, especially in the hot, Southern summertime. The shirt does this for the coat but I've never heard someone mention this for pants which arguably get more use.

Being from a tropical country, I can only use summer suits in general, except at night or deep winter.

Reply
@SageBlackthorn 6 October 2024 - 7:15 pm

I was looking at Haspel's offerings online today, and I see that their jackets and pants are now only 99% cotton/1% Elastine. Not the 100% cotton Seersucker. What is the effect of the 1% Elastine on how the fabric wears and it's durability?

@itsnicholasxp3513 6 October 2024 - 7:15 pm

It's too hot in the summer time to wear suits you wear t-shirts shorts and sneakers

Surreal, man. Cheap wrinkles and classy wrinkles?!!! 😁WTH …how does that make any sense?
Do we also have black wrinkles and white wrinkles?
Smart wrinkles and dumb wrinkles.
Civilian wrinkles and military wrinkles?

Linen suits are awesome in summer. They look summery and if it is 100% linen, you can actually hand wash them gently

I bought a linen suit at the store. Upon arriving home I realized that the interior lining was 100% polyester. Will this affect the quality of the suit?

Reply
@neilcowan6789 6 October 2024 - 7:15 pm

I would call the colour of your suit “ celery”. I passed on one in a chic shop in Hollywood- Fred Seagal. Then I found one in my father’s closet from the 40s. Shoulda kept it. He wore hats.
