the ultimate wedding cake hunt continues
hunt for a wedding cake with me, I basically taste all of the nationwide delivery options like crumbs and doilies, lolas cupcake, patisserie valerie, cutter and squidge etc. What do YOU think I should do for a cake?

Never have I thought I'd hear someone compare the texture of a cake to a butt cheek but here we are 🤣
Love the wedding cakes for Borrowers!
Stop eating with a knife you’re looking crazy and scarring me. 😭
Is Grackle getting married!??? Whatttt
Chocolate is my least fav 😂
Where is your green cardigan from pls
Hi lovely. Have you tried cakes from Jack and Beyond (based in London)? I’ve watched someone do their Bottomless Cake Challenge and the cakes looked very nice.
The cake wasn't messy. It was more of an elegant rustic style cake
I don’t think you can eat that 😂😂😂
Thank you for the honesty, felt the exact same about my wedding dress! You are a gem, you are simply incredible 🤍
Love that you just ate with the knife. Real human things that is exactly how I would taste them too XD
i neeed to steal the brownie stack idea but he doesn't like chocolate!!! </3
Id do a groomsman/bride cake decorated with ur two fav flavors maybe chocolate hazelnut and grooms choice for cutting in front of guest and then maybe cupcakes or petit fours or have pre sliced slices of two different flavors! Or do no single cake and do a dessert bar where u can have multiple flavors of cakes cookies, candy and guest can take home a bag of candy with ur names and date as remembrance!
Our wedding cake was three tiers, and we did a chocolate tier, a white tier, and a marbled tier! Didn’t even taste them, I don’t even know if it’s a thing in the states? I’ve only seen it in movies.. maybe that’s a thing bougie people do.
I had a carrot cake when I got married in 1980. My new MIL was appalled. Most cakes were still dry pound cake back then, in my area anyway.
As a professional wedding cake maker – go to the independents! they actually care about the taste of the cakes, they have a person behind them making every single cake by hand and you know you're supporting a small biz. way better than these big companies!
you're engaged but you're not living with your fiance? how does that work?
Crumbs and doilies
I think you should go for aomething that has different flavours that you like. You maybe feeling fruity, or chocolate etc. Its cool to mis them up. I went to a wedding and they had Mr and Mrs caterpillar cakes with individual mini ones for everyone to take.
You mentioned nuts a few times. (Me being paranoid) but if hou have anyone with nut allergies- some people are so sensitive from it being the air- i personally couldnt have nuts. My dads cake had marzipan and im a tree nut allergy so they actually kept it quite far away and as i had just had an operation they made a little sign for noone to bring any over to me as i wasnt able to get up etc and people brought me little bits and bobs theough the whole time xx
3 tier bottom cake carrot middle cake choc top cake french vanilla rasberry filling white chocolate buttercream for all the cakes😊
Try eat’n’mess. She makes wonderful cakes.
My niece did cake and pies as her husband loved pie.
You could rent a narrowboat and honeymoon on the canals. Did you see Nate and Kara?
Konditor literally means pastry chef in German 😊
Chocolate is the worst cakeeeeeeee
Love this video do more of these if you can ❤
I think working with a local baker could get you what you want
I'm having a tower of macarons for my wedding. I'm getting them from my favourite local macaron bakery. They give a tower stand for a deposit and I get that back when I return it. And we are getting a 6 inch cake in cookies and cream from the same place as something to cut and we will take the cake home for after the wedding for us haha
"is that plastic?" Proceeds to take a bite
