I'm so curious about what the gifts were that the groomsmen offered the bridesmaids (aside from the egg tarts that you mentioned).

I totally relate, I'm the firstborn and the first one getting married. I also forgot that my folks are social butterflies. We're having the tea ceremony as well!

Firstly, this video is excellent and really unique and I’m grateful that you made it! I know you mentioned that you had a very large wedding because of your parents status in the community. I am in a really similar situation. How did you make sure to still enjoy and spend time with special guests with such a large event?

I’m Dominican and Haitian but only on my mom’s side. My dad is just American but I want to integrate that into my wedding. I’m only 18 but it makes me think what to do 😂

I’m trying to plan a tea ceremony because my fiancé is Chinese. His mom and dad have been so helpful! Thank goodness because I’m so nervous about doing something insensitive or wrong.

Thank you so much for this video – so helpful! I struggle with the language barrier as most guests won‘t speak one common language! My partner‘s father is from the states, we both grew up in Germany but living in New Zealand and my family is vietnamese spread all across USA, Russia, Vietnam and Germany. So every single step – from website, ceremony, signages etc. Have to be in German, English and Vietnamese. Very overwhelming. Any tipps?

Thank you for posting this! I am currently planning my wedding for October 9th 2020…figures crossed no COVID 19 delay. My fiance is from Malaysia. He is half Chinese and half Indian. I am a white American and my family is from Norway. My fiance is Hindu and I am Christian. So we are defiantly planning a very multicultural and multi religious wedding. It's hard to know what to do sometimes. Thanks for all your content it is a great help!

Did you hold your tea ceremony and reception on the same day? If so, did you find that stressful or were you able to manage?
