For Indian wedding shooters, it's so stressful to shoot getting ready because there are back to back rituals and it is hard to get proper time for this stuff.
How do you take grooms getting ready as a girl photographer, and making them feel comfortable? Thank you so much!
If a groom requests candids only what shots would you get without asking for some of these specific shots?
I'm very new to the field and glad I saw this. Who is Michael James?
Dude, you need your own channel. Good screen presence and good voice. Seriously. Start a channel.
As a long time second and primary shooter you nailed it. The most significant trait of any second shooter is the ability to add value to the primary shooter and final product.
How many images are you looking for from a typical groom prep?
Loved it! I'd love to see more behind the scenes of getting the "guys" section of the day photographed. That's one of my weak points!
I know you too are married and might good home at the end of a wedding in the same car. But if you leave in different cars it's a good idea if you shoot on dual cards to give each one card from each camera. This is so each of you have a back up if the other photographers photos.
I heard about one photographer that went into a restaurant and good car for broken into he lost all the photos too that wedding.
Where is the link for the grooms guide?
As a female photographer who shot hundreds of groom peep over the years, I’ve put on hundreds of ties and trust me they never know how to put on a boutonnière LOL. All good skills to have!
Your shoes scares me.. lol
You and your wife are awesome! Both so nice and super helpful with advice! Thank you for youe videos
Thanks for sharing Michael. Those were some great tips to get me started as a second shooter to my wife.
Michael, you're a natural!
Great material. Thanks for this info.
This needs to be a much more expanded video Michael! You and I both know that… LOL! These are all things I learned along the way as a second shooter, but would have given the world to learn in a video, rather than over five years of shooting as a 2nd. I feel like preparing my 2nds for what I expect and need is a 5hr process all in itself… There's a lot to it, but a good 2nd is worth their time and talent in gold!
Yay Michael! Good to see you do so well. You're such a nice person; you're a pro at putting people at ease #chsalum
Thank you, Michael! And great video! Katelyn, hope you’re feeling better soon! Love you guys!
Great job Michael!!!
Thank you Michael, great tips
The intro bump with the veil tossing and the vague arms peeking in kills me 😂
Thanks for the tips Michael! Hope Katelyn feels better soon!
Love this! The tips would have been very useful if I were a photog.
Love this!! Great job Michael!
This was SO helpful! Can't wait to make this video part of my second shooter training! ha ha!

This was amazing! James is going to love this and you already know I’m gonna get that guide!! 😂😂

Thank you! As a second shooter getting ready to shoot my first wedding, this was super helpful!
