I love the demijohn with the Lord of the Rings characters. 😂😂😂😂
that’s genius omg
Hi – would you recommend a vendor for the vintage reproduction postcards you found? Thank you for considering.
Not me buying lanterns just to have cute lanterns around the house afterwards XD
Ahh yesss thank you Jamie!! I freakin love when you do Cricut DIY videos♥️♥️ please do more! Always😜♥️
I am somewhat disappointed that it weren't names from Harry Potter xD
I have done this for different events my whole life! I am wedding planning for my daughter. Don't forget another great money saving tip : Ask trusted family members and friends if you may borrow a few of their things as well. Make sure they are clearly marked so the right item gets back to the correct person. NOTE: I NEVER borrow anything that is a precious heirloom or extremely sentimental to them. Accidents do happen, I would feel awful if something happened to an item I could not replace.
would LOVE a Cricut video!!! <3
Can I just say how awesome your name list on the bottle was!! LOTR is the absolute best!!
I decided I want to go to this wedding after finding out that the Lord of the Rings people will be there
Please do some videos on how to be a wedding GUEST! Or how to be in a wedding party. It may sound silly but my husband and I grew up in families with not much money, so weddings were very very simple and informal. We have 2 large weddings to attend this year, one of them where my husband is a groomsman, and we have no idea what we are doing. He actually unintentionally accepted being a groomsman to an out of state wedding which he didn't realize was a large cost commitment 🤦♀️ he put off telling them for several months until now which is 6 months away and we have no choice but to go (we wanted to but really shouldn't since we are on a tight income for a family of 5). Anyways, I would love ideas on what to wear, gifts to give, etc. Help!@
Yes to cricut videos!! I'm buying one today!!
Thrifted my dress, faux florals for bouquets and boutonnières, candles, card box, table numbers, and used scrap wood from old projects for our signage. It was more work than had I bought it all new, but I enjoyed the crafting, was happy about the environmental benefits, and loved the savings!
Thank you!!! My wedding is in a month and I definitely have decor items to get to.
Oh hell yes, I needed this. I’m thrifting my whole wedding….
Love all three of these.
I’m getting married this year on December, my fiancé and I got clearance Christmas decorations from last year. We will be using the discounted decorations for our wedding and keeping them too. 😂
Do you think I could use removable vinyl on a jean jacket without using htv?
A trick I learned for taking off those stubborn retail stickers. Get a Scrub Daddy. You can scrub those stickers off with one and hot, soapy water.
Bonus: no chemicals 🙂
This is exactly what I want to do for my seating chart but I'm afriad it's going to look weird compared to my other decor which is more of a rustic, fall vibe… Do you think having elements that aren't necessarily in your theme ok or will it just look weird?
The stickers that thrift stores use for price tags are the WORST!! They are always a nightmare to remove.
Girl you had me CACKLING in this video! You’re so sweet and creative! Definitely stealing these ideas for my wedding☺️
Could you use the weeding tool to peel the stickers off again?
I love voice over Jamie, she's like on camera Jamie unleashed!
Yess!! LOTR for the win! ❤ I love all these thrifts!
Love seeing the DIYs and thrift videos! I recently caught my boyfriend of nearly five years planning to propose. Let’s just say he’s bad at secrets and I know it’s coming soon. Anywho, I’ve already started started thrifting and DIYing our wedding decor so it’s less hassle once he actually puts a ring on it😂
If you plan on having kiddos in the future make sure to save the table numbers and use them for their first year month photos. It was a tip given to me at our wedding and I’m so glad I kept our numbers!
I love all of this! When I saw your poll earlier this week for what video you should make I voted for the other idea but I'm so glad this one won.
When I grow up I want to be you!
I'm doing the vintage postcard table numbers too! I got some real European postcards, around war time I think, silver and brass trays, old books, and stained/painted glass bottles. I'll get some corks online and use that for the table numbers, thanks for that idea!
Im loving the nerdy humor! These are all too cute
Thrifted about 30-35 bottles/vases/pottery pieces from Salvation Army and painted them all olive green, burnt orange, and a sandy neutral (our wedding colors) for the table florals for about $150 in total. Took one week from start to finish and our guests can take them home for home decor in their own home as a sustainable wedding favor.
I thrifted about 95% of my decor even down to my linens! Now it’s just what to do with it 😅 currently I’m driving around with it under the premise of donating it back, but also wouldn’t mind stumbling across another bride who might need it, and recouping some of the money spent on decor. Cut out the middle man so-to-speak.
