Vegan Wedding Planning Vlog #1 // Budgets, Bridesmaids, Venue, & Catering?

So this is a weird video, it’s not really food-centric but mostly planning-centric so it might not be the most EXCITING vlog but it’s just kind of us trying to plan this vegan wedding and how I’m approaching it in general.

Some “episodes” might be more interesting than others, but this one is…

This video was made 11 months ago. I am assuming you got married already. What did you end up doing?

You guys are so cute!
I've had friends who had a "wishing well" at their wedding – where guests give you money instead of a wedding gift to help cover the cost of the wedding/pay for a honeymoon etc. I don't know if that's a thing in Canada but I think it's a nice idea.

Never heard of a Stag and Doe party either! In America even a honeymoon registry is looked down upon by some >.< Damn, what I'd give for one of those! Lol I'm 6 months away from getting married. I also completely agree with your caterer. Once the big things are booked, you can take a nice long exhale. It's the best knowing that things are taken care of for a while. Then you have to get back on the horse at the 6 month mark, the 3 month mark, then the month mark up to the day of. Lol wishing you and Eddie the absolute best 🙂

Oh my goodness. This sent me into flash backs of the stress of planning my vegan wedding. 8 months of logistical hell

I love the venue such a great idea? Can I ask what your budget is and how many guests? How did you decide both of those items?

Love those bridesmaids bags so adorable and such a good idea! Wedding planning can be so stressful sometimes all the stress will melt on the day. Just remember what matters the most is the two of you!

My parents were helping me pay for my wedding but they told me that i need to have meat dishes to serve my guests at my wedding. So I have decided to pay for my wedding on my own. I am not going to sacrifice my morals over money. Good luck on your wedding and congratulations.

With a dj: the weddings that I've been to recently have just used an iPod playlist that guests can make suggestions for and they've worked really well 😊

just started watching and just had to comment that I also have a pile of clothes (on my dresser) that have been worn but could be worn again. Looks messy but all part of a gr88 system haha

About the DJ: "I talked to Dan, about his cousin . . . " is so charmingly outer TO : ) This looks stressful, but think of how splendid the memories will be if you just focus on feeding and watering people well and not making the event uncomfortable for them. I would love to roam around that gorgeous home, noshing on vegan three-bites and chatting with everyone! Hoping the choices went easily since this was filmed. TFP : )

Love love love the venue and idea of exploring and then having a few different small plates! seems so cool!

I thought a stag and doe was just another term for a stag/stagette where you go party…. I've never heard of getting money from it…?

I LOVE the first venue! It's super quaint and intimate. It would be less stressful to have everything in one place, rather than two. That's what I did for my wedding and it was so simple.

I love seeing you commit to a vegan wedding 💚 I don't think I've ever been to one. Way to blaze the trail! ✊🏾 I hope you're finding some means of relaxation through all this. When you get stressed out, just remember that no matter what, your wedding is guaranteed to be a celebration of love surrounded by your loved ones. That's what matters most and it's already promised– it's the built-in core of the ceremony. The logistics and finer details will mold around that core, one step at a time. Your YouTube fam is here to help however we can 😊

Girl, I am living vicariously through you! Kudos to you and your fiance for keeping it vegan. Can't wait to see more of your journey! I didn't want to deal with the expectations, drama, and expenses. Also, my husband likes to cook so we made a vegan nacho bar and asked people to bring vegan sides if they wanted. It was a hike & hitch with a backyard reception. It was fitting for us. Yours will be amazing no matter what 🙂
