I think it's really crappy. Personally, being the only surviving parent and the venue is almost 1800 miles away, I cannot leave the children and all my potential "babysitters" are going to be in the wedding. That part of the family have never met my children, so I am not taking it personally, but not going is my only option. The bad taste it has left in my mouth is ever lasting.
