Very informative video thank you. Like so many in this comment section the registrar booking had no real information only saying choose 5 songs and prepare readings for ceremony which will be checked approx 2 weeks prior.
Xx

Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️

Could you do a guide for a registry office please? We need to do it before our celebrant ceremony and have no idea what to expect.

Hello! Thanks for this video. Are we provided with an usher or we have to choose our own?

Thanks for making such informative vids! Have found them so useful with planning my 2022 wedding. From your experience, does it work better to have couples standing or sitting during the readings, or at any other point in the ceremony? Thanks!

Got a meeting with our pastor next week and I'm hoping to pin down the exact order of service so I can get the damned wedding stationery done😂

Uhh, I'm into girls. Which bride's mom is being sat down?

(I'm not getting married anytime soon, I'm not even in a relationship, but still.)

Do the bride and groom have to write their own vows during the wedding ceremony, like they do in American weddings/movies? Lol

Is this the same for marriages held at a venue not in a registry office? my venue is small and will be very hard for myself (bride) to meet with registra 15 minutes before hand without being seen in my dress by guests/groom

Do you know where an interpreter stands when interpreting for the bride at a civil wedding? Thank you.

This may sound like a dumb question, but does the bride sign her maiden name or her married name on the marriage certificate?

Who does the readings? The registrar, or family member, someone chosen by bride and groom?

This was so interesting, I’m having a civil ceremony in 2022 and I’ve so far been given no info as to what’s going to happen and I didn’t wanna ask so early in and look like a “bridezilla” but my anxiety has been going haywire so this really helped me feel more in control having some idea of what’s to happen. Thank you ☺️

I'm an independent celebrant and I liked your video, but I'd like you to add that there is a choice of having a wedding ceremony at the place of your choice and a time of your choice… after the registry office formalities. This gives the couple a chance to have a ceremony that really reflects them and their choices. … This type of civil ceremony is growing in popularity in UK as people want a ceremony that is bespoke to them.

What is the Reading about? Bible verse? Or just a well wishing speech from the family?

Really useful as there's no rehearsal for a civil ceremony so great to have a better idea of the order. Really important to be ready early too to meet the register.
