I wanna hear about different low backs, different strapless, dresses that have multiple sections like covers
Thank you for illuminating chiffon for me for my winter wedding. I’m here bc I found a dress at a thrift store(three total tbh) and I’m making a kind of dress collage but was soooo unsure what fabrics to choose for my look. Your guidance is so perfect the way you mention seasons and feel of fabric and context 🎉
❤
wow
Megan’s dress was silk with organza under the skirt
Really So glad your so amazing. I loved the way you made it so easy to know about material
Thanks for the info. I tried watching a different video about this but they had all the dresses on a horizontal rack, with a white background and just pulled out the edge of each one
All I could make out was a sea of white. Being able to see each dress individually was so much more helpful! My only suggestion would be to have someone model each kind of dress, if possible. That way you can see how they move and hang and drape etc. But thank you for staying on point and giving thorough easily understandable information. Very helpful 😊
Edit to add: If you wanted a soft, airy, flowy kind of bottom, with color but not solid color do you think it would work to put a colored layer under an organza top layer for a hint of color to show through? I hope I wrote described that in an understandable way. What would you use for the colored layer? Or do you have a better suggestion? If you see this and have the time to answer, I would be extremely grateful. I'm considering trying to make my own dress. Unfortunately disposable income is not something we have. I would feel too selfish to take away from my family for something I don't NEED, but I still WANT very badly! Any help is appreciated.
What are the price ranges for crepe fabric? There's so many types of crepe and price points! Like scube crepe, knit crepe, polyester crepe. I live somewhere that's tropical but I like the matte look and stretchiness of crepe! Is there a version of crepe that's more breathable??
Love the explanations. Are these all dresses you made? I love the tan with the dotted tulle overlay.
Excellent descriptions.
Please where do you recommend to get a MIKADO Fabric
Is charmeuse same as duchesse
Thanks so much for this video. What kind of tool do you prefer to use, the soft or the hard type?
Came looking for tips to make a wedding dress. I can sew and although I've altered a wedding dress I've never made one from scratch. I wanted advice on fabrics to start with. Thank you for your help and for making this video.
