What design would be best for skinny girls?

You could indeed add a crinoline under that first a line

Why do they make the sample gowns so long? Once it gets cut down for the length of a normal sized woman won’t it lose a lot of the design/look?

I’m hoping to be in shape and fit by the time I’m married lol, so then I will be able to get a more fitted look and not be insecure (and also just to be healthier because that’s important). But I guess after watching this, I’ve decided my favorite style is ball gown!

Nayri, again, another very informative video! I understand when you said the wider the bottom the smaller the bride's waist appears. How do these shapes come into factor when your bride has broad shoulders? My daughter has an inverted triangle shape – broader shoulders with narrow waist and hips. She is beautiful in fitted gowns, but she does not like how broad her shoulders look in that type of dress. Does a dress with more fullness at the bottom also offset broader shoulders too? Or are we focusing on the wrong area and should be considering the neckline? Thanks for any suggestions!

Beautiful! Loved the one with the over skirt 😍 I remember looking at my grandmother’s bridal magazines and dreaming of the one that has the short dress underneath. I still went with the ball gown, though! Input about wearing a hooped underskirt? I want to wear my dress full as it is all night! Is that too crazy? It’s the only few hours I’ll ever wear my dress…and it’s beautiful and sparkling. I can’t wrap my head around tucking it into a bustle… 😢

Thank you for this video! The end was particularly clarifying on sizing. I am able to submit custom measurements for my gown, and I am concerned that the detachable skirt obscure my waist line. The tiniest part of my “waist” is just south of my fixed ribs (I have a rib cage that’s tiny from the side wider when viewed from the front). Could the placement of the skirt be changed by a talented seamstress, if need be?
