So called "Pro" photogrphers. Instead of giving away real tips trying to shove Magmod and Mag bounce down the throat of other photographes. You should be ASHAMED of yourself! Just say you are promoting MagMod man! 🤮

What about no flash at all? I rarely use flash at all, I don’t like the style at all. I use flash mounted in the camera facing directly at the subject, but I make around 10% of the photos during the reception with this approach and mainly in the dance floor. Otherwise I use the available light and preserve the atmosphere of the venue.

Your videos are dope, man. Thank you for all this info! Just invested in the Holdfast Moneymaker, love it. What was the name of the bag you use with it?

I find that bounce flash is super inconsistent for me because I move around so much and what about outdoor weddings, how do you handle those? If you do not use off camera flash then that means you are using direct flash right? Great video again ofcourse.

when you bounce the flash on the sealing with magmod you are wasting the light off by using that soft magmod. I have been doing event photography for 5 plus years and I find magmod is an unnecessary accessary to carry around with in a versatile lighting event. I have been doing events just with flash bouncing off the sealing with a small built in white flap which would be there in almost all speedlight flash.

Thanks for the tips. I need to grab the mag bounce too for longer focal lengths. By the way, I know your moms. She put me up on game about you. Great content bro. Blessings.

Very useful information, I only just purchased magmod sphere and learning best angles to use it on camera.
What do you do if you come across situation you have black ceiling and need to use on camera flash still? Where would you angle it then?

How do you fix the vertical banding when a venue has harsh lights? When I look at the photos and see dark vertical lines, it bugs me out.
