If either one of them were smart enough, they would not go thru with this. What a way to start a marriage. They’ll be divorced within the year, and fighting over the debt they accrued. How sad and stressful

Go to a chapel somewhere or courthouse. Then save for your dream wedding. Not very good decision making.
My wedding we got spent 2100$ and we had a hall, DJ, photographer, cake, decorations and flowers. looked nice, I made everything myself and was up til 2 am making tiny finger sandwiches with my bridesmaids the night before

Right at the beginning and not much liking her, him, or her son (though it's hard to be a stepchild). Not that either of them seem all that organised or especially responsible.

It seems like they might have been better having a small civil ceremony and maybe had a nice big house party after. Cheap doesn't mean tacky.
