Hi, how long does the music last in the reception? Does it play immediately when guest arrive or before guest arrive? The reception is 4-9pm. Does this mean music is played during dinner too?

My DJ said he won’t be attending the rehearsal. Should I be asking for a playlist? I don’t know what to play during the rehearsal.
I wonder if my song choice for the ceremony is long enough for 8 bridesmaids? It’s 4:50mins. A dj would be playing the song, I Was Born to Love You – Ray LaMontagne. Any suggestions to make the song longer if necessary? Maybe find a way to drag out the song no lyrics?
Shoot..if it wasn’t cost prohibitive I’d hire you to travel to Thailand to plan my wedding 😅

I saw this happen in the hall near my brother's wedding reception. A female manager was upset with a caterer, who had signed up for a one-person shift. She said she didn't think he could manage the service alone. She was sternly all, "I've told you not to sign up for shifts by yourself, I've been very clear about that, I don't know how much clearer I can get for you to listen. You need someone there to give you instructions and guide you." And then the caterer said, "You know, I'm beginning to see why you work so many wedding receptions." What does his comeback mean? Whats the implied reason?

I'm in the process of planning my wedding for 2024. I was just thinking about how my bridal party is gonna come doen the aisle. I'm thinking about my bridesmaids/maid of honors coming down the aisle with the groomsmen. My Jr. Bridesmaids/Jr. Groomsmen come down together, and my matron of honors come down the aisle by themselves

Same. It stresses me out with all details just cause we've never done before and when your already stressed it's like another task. Just never thought of the tiny details. It's 🤪 crazy. Signage is perfect ! Pick a seat… then songs make it or break it. Who cares if people take their own photos lol just have your photographer kick them out of way. I highly doubt people would jump in front of for kisses…
Always thought bridesmaids went in order by status (ex matron or maid of honor last, maids prior).
