My brother is a photographer/videographer and his first comment about my sisters wedding was “make sure the workers are fed”.
It’s not just about them not being able to store a lunchbox. It also gives them a chance to sit down for a moment and have a break bc they don’t get breaks. And they’ll remember it when editing your photos/videos 😂
Ok, I might be a horrible person but I always wonder about that "feeding vendors" point. All of us mere mortals bring lunch boxes to work. It is a very rare occasion that workplace provides lunch/dinner so why should we do that for people we hire? If I hire a painter for 2 days, I'm not expected to provide lunch for them either. And for some people, 2 photographers, dj, coordinator etc. might add 1/4 more to their food budget.
I helped to the wedding set it all up. the tables, the plates we even folded the napkins. We weren’t provided with food for us to eat one small shredded pork barbecue sandwich that was it. I had a massive migraine for not drinking enough water.
