Did u guys answer the question? Lols 😆
You don't.
My husband and I paid $30,000 for our wedding, but we saved for over a year after getting engaged and paid in full.
Don't get married.
I like the YouTube version. All you need is the couple, the officiant, a GoPro, and links to anyone you care about. Period.
Marriage is for God and the other 2 involved if we keep that in mind what could go wrong. I'm 35 been married 7 years and don't owe a cent to anyone besides property tax for the rest of my life steady building more love for my wife and knowledge in the lord good luck to the young couples marriage is wonderful when done rite. I beleive not spending a bunch on the wedding is partly why are finances are where they are and our honeymoon was working wife in a hospitol in oregon and me on natural gas pipelines around Boise idaho.
I think couples should put more emphasis on throwing anniversary parties for significant milestones (i.e. 10, 20, 30 years) rather than throwing big weddings. Let's face it. Whether or not you like it, marriages are likely to fail. Divorce rates are anywhere from 35-75% depending on length of marriage, # of marriage (first, second, third, tenth 😉 ), financial status, etc. so why not celebrate when marriages make those milestones? I know, because it's about the bride's day & yadda yadda yadda.
My GF and I are currently planning our wedding. We're just going to write checks for everything and keep it under 10k. Both of us are in our early 30's, and we have a combined net worth of just over $1 million already.
Don’t get married
Told my wife we could have anything we wanted at our wedding except that when we stepped on that plane for the honeymoon it all had to be paid in full!

Weddings are ONE day of your life. Don't go nuts.
If you’re financing a wedding you’re paying too much. The justice of peace was perfect for us and we’re still married 34 years later. Our rings cost no more than $400 and that was our biggest expense. Our honeymoon was at a local restaurant and we had a glass of wine and chili cheese fries.
I want to marry a 19th century woman. But they're all gone….
Go to court house, get marriage certificate notarized, put your savings into Index Fund for the future. Rinse and repeat like I did for my 3 marriages. Pre-nup helps also.
Best advice I have is to go to city hall or the county courthouse!
I remember the days one the parents would just pay for it
