I am a musician. I always dress for gigs, suits, ties, etc…, other’s are wearing cargo shorts and t shirts, sneakers with no socks. What is wrong with people?

I always feel too hot, I think a suit would only be bearable for me in winter : / Are there any tips for light and good looking attire?
I wear a double breasted three piece suit daily. People judge my profession by how we look and the suite imposes executive presence….As for looking "old" that happens because you're looking dapper while the rest of the world still dresses like they did in high school. I have one in black, brown, navy and charcoal and rotate through them all week. Friday is casual so a sport coat does well, though.
Are metal buttons on single breasted blazers still trendy?
My interest in classic men's wear is directly inspired by my maternal grandfather, who raised me along with my mother and grandmother. An Italian-American man of very modest means, he always found a way to dress well. Any association with him is an honor.
I like the Black PinStripe Double Breasted suit.
Double breasted suits look great when buttoned up, but if unbuttoned, they look sloppy.
Single breasted is more versatile. Looks great in either option.
Maybe i've just watched too many old TV shows, but I can't help myself, I've always loved the Double-Breasted suit.
Ricardo Tubbs in Miami Vice made the double breasted jacket one of the most definite looks of the mid to late 1980s.
As a collector of Vinyl records, I am all into the 80s, so I recently went back to the double breasted look. You can quite easy find them back again these days: Suitsupply and Reiss have them. But even stores like Mango and C&A offer some cheap double breasted. I even have a very cheap checkered grey double breasted jacket from asos that I quite like for the money.
I think most important for a double breasted jacket, is that it has peaked lapels. Gangsters and daggers 😎

I wear a very shiny satin white 1 row button jacket. Usually with a black shirt with a silver necklace with a rather large pendant. Helps to keep the feel casual while looking exceptional.
I love double breasted suit and jacket every 1 single breasted suit I have , I get a double. So it is like 50/50 But to be honest you have to do bespoke as you don't find them often.
Navy pinstripe is the best colour to get in a Double breasted , I just want to know how to make it look more unique ?
I only wear double breasted suits , I also wear it with a vest that match the suit jacket but as alil lighter colour mostly enjoy my navy and Grey double breasted suits. Red ties go perfect with navy double breasted suits aswell.
I just LOVE double-breasted suits, and am thinking of getting a few really good ones. Any good recommendations?
