Thanks for sharing! I learned something new – the notion of a posy.

Absolutely gorgeous. Excellent points Georgie about everything else that needs to fit on the table. The container the posy is in will barely be noticed.

Hi Georgie, is there a link where I can watch all your club vids consecutively and be notified when next one’s up? thereby dodging the ads, please?

I really enjoyed this and it has inspired me to be better at putting flowers on our ( round) dining table when people come for supper. I haven’t done it because I only have vases and they are too tall . This works beautifully. I do hope your potential client watched this and was reassured .

It's funny, I feel like you do the 'press the bell icon'-chat faster each time I hear it 🙂 Love your videos and personality

Surely no one’s even looking at the jar with all those lovely flowers to see and smell! 💕💐💕

Any bride would be delighted to have your jam jar posy as a bouquet, never mind a table decoration.! Again, your flowers are an inspiration. Thank you for sharing 😀

Where do you source your tall hexagon jam jars? I love them!

When cutting flowers for home I tend to put one flower at a time in the vase (tends to stress me out as they never seem to stay put)) should I be using same method as shown here ie bunch in hand (and tying? or not?) before inserting into vase? Probably a stupid question.

I'm I right you are not a big fan of Baby's breath? When I see fever few I always think about chamomile. the double version of fever few (perhaps because the big yellow part is a bit less seen) I like a bit more, but really love Baby's breath more than fever few.

I don't have a problem with snips..I DO have a problem with my horihori knife which is constantly trying to dissect my fingers..

Such a pretty arrangement. I wonder if some people With a more formal event are concerned that the jar looks less formal. But your ribbon hides the jar threads, so it looks like a little vase, not a jar.

Super helpful thank you.

I’m thinking of jam jar posies for hay bale tables full of sweet peas and maybe some froth or rose buds.

Although I’m questioning how many stems I need to cater for, now I see what you manage to squeeze through the neck of that jar!! 😅

A farm wedding reception is very far from Chatsworth, but the joy of a jam jar is it’s simplicity and effortless charm.

Nothing puts a fancy silver candelabra back in its place like a jam jar of beautiful blooms!

Georgie, your work is always an explosion of beauty and color! ( Yes, I am an American.) You've definitely shown us that a jam jar can indeed hold a stunning centerpiece of floral artwork. I have watched all of your videos as I love to hear you "bang on" about anything at all. You are so charming, knowledgeable and full of life! I've learned a great deal from you. Many thanks.

Thank you! How you put this posy together is fascinating. While I love decorative vases I do struggle to get flowers and vases to go together harmoniously. Using a jam jar eliminates the problem and lets you enjoy the flowers.

Totally agree with you there is no place for big flower arrangements on the table a nun once said two or three jars of a few flowers 🌺 is far better And attracts more attention than a big spray and another little secret don't buy scented candles buy plain white long candle and spray it with the perfume you are wareing as this will give a mild sent and won't have a confusion of smells And just gives a tinge of what is smelling nice put candles on the tables in the bathroom in the kitchen don't go for colour candles as this could make a spring or summer party looking more like a Christmas party and give a tacky look
stick to plain white little said little mended also if you are attending to buy plants cup etc get plain white if you want matching or a mix if going for the country look but make sure they are light to lift be carefully of stoneware or pottery they can get heavy and make it look like your block laying
it now except able to give a mug than a cup and saucer as lord Brouden one said madam the cup of tea was fabulous but a bloody fly came in and took half it away with it's legs as the law on drinking and driving is now strict half you guests won't be drinking and might like a good warm English brew or a cup of coffee or water why'll enjoying the company why'll looking at your beautiful flowers
God Bless
