Thank God for businesses like Savannahs waking up to fact that color palettes in make-up, clothing and fabrics are not the same for those whose skin tones are varying shades of tan to ebony. There was nothing more that highlights for a child that they are excluded in our society than the inability to find a prom dress in a color appropriate for an adolescent and in a shade that highlights brown skin. Thankfully pastels were perfect for me and popular at that time in my life, but that is not always the case. That is an example of micro-aggressions I've learned to navigate. I'm convinced few consider this and other issues like those Chloe has encountered already about her hair when they so blithely, and, I must add, misguidedly pronounce there is no racism coursing through the heart and major arteries and veins of American culture and society as we enter 2022. They're racist deniers in my opinion who I would be happy to take through a week of my life to show them first hand how, for example, wrong SCOTUS was to dismantle affirmative action and the civil rights' gains of the '60's because their severely blind and fully wrong view was/is that racism no longer exists in the U.S A. ( It never did exist, BTW, for the men of SCOTUS: Thomas' tenure stands in denial of it's existence,) This country, led by elites, has refused since 1619 to own up to, and to make amends and pay reparations for the harms done by building our beloved country on the backs of stolen, free Black labor — AKA slavery. Without this accountability there can be no resolution of these core social ills. And, without justice there can be no peace. (Refer to the seeds of January 6, 2021 for proof.)
I did not intend to drill deep into this subject here in Comments made regarding a favorite comedy reality show I watch. But the truth is the truth. And I brook no barricade to saying we must turn this toxic, cultural cancer to the trashcan where it belongs once and for all on behalf of precious little ones like Chloe, as well as for all the whites this caste system utterly cripples, and for Blacks and others it paralyzes and excludes from full access to our democratic life.
It's not just harm to Blacks from this corruption! We know how to live with and around it; we're racially excluded survivalists, if you will. Many white folks, however, have no clue white supremacy is a lie many of their entire lives are rooted in, and frankly, rot in, too. And, when they are awakened to the truth, there is a profound sense of betrayal and loss that gut punches them. It is a peculiar mental twist that accompanies that insight, and must be dealt with while walking its road to maturity. That's a very difficult road to walk, but not impossible to deal with as a country if we work together. We got in this mess together! We will grow out of it together! Or continue to pay its unnecessary and tragic price!
Now is as perfect a time as any to do this work for once and for all time! I pray nightly we will come together for the benefit of humanity!
Do what's best for you savannah, what makes u happy !!!! When I make mistakes there's no undoing them, haters gonna always be haters, enjoy your life, you'll always have supporters, God is in control !!!!!

On their IG neither has them in a relationship. Their in relationship therapy? If you have to try that hard to be in therapy before marriage then they are not suited for one another. That’s not love. Savannah puts her looks above all else. She is a spender. She has a big heart and is an amazing person. She is who she is. Like her father. Nick is happy with his looks. Doesn’t care what others think. He does not worry about keeping up with the jones. He saves rather than spend spend. Will Todd ever let his kids lead their own lives? With out his input or influence? It doesn’t mean he loves them any less. As a parent you have to let your adult kids make their own choices, and live with the consequences of their choices. I do hope and pray they each find the right person for themselves. My husband and I were twenty five when we married. We have been happily married almost thirty five years now. Our two adult children are happy, loving , giving successful Christian people . Our son has a career in business and our daughter is a physician assistant in grad school
