Thanks for watching Hair Fam! If you want to watch the video that I did with Summer on her channel, you can check it out right here! **6 Key Styling Tools for Fine Hair: https://youtu.be/rfPK3GOpaqs
Short hair doesn’t look great on me at all as I have a long face. I had tried a blunt bob before and it looked really bad on me as well shoulder length, I looked like a guy and didn’t help my insecurity at all and I am also not allowed to cut my hair from my mom (even though I’m a grown adult lol) and I also want my waist length hair back 🙁
I'm just curious, what would a good haircut be for fine thin hair with an round slightly chubby oval face? because my face is oval but its more rounder in the cheeks.
Girls can you do a tutorial for women who used to have thick course hair, then 10 years ago my hair started falling out and receding and now the top of my head. The hair has turned into what I call fairy floss hair so it’s fine and it’s turned frizzy . I can use a dryer but that’s it ,heating irons or anything of the irons which are heated burns my hair, off in some cases. I used to be a hairdresser but am at a loss how to address this mess that some call hair. I have more products than a shop. Would love it if you could come up with some styles and suggestions. I already wear my hair in a layered bob.
What cut is best for fuller face older women with chins???
The bob that is longer in the front than the back with no layering, is called an “A-line Bob”
My hairdresser says the exact opposite thing, that my hair needs at least a little bit of layering because if it is cut blunt it will stack out and look like a tent.
I have terribly thin hair. I keep a bob but he heavily layers the back that makes my thin areas look thick. A truly artist.
Thanks for sharing. xx
Thank youuu so much Gabby. I watched your video 2 weeks ago and I went to the salon to cut my hair because I have very fine thin hair and I took ur recommendation on going for a long blunt bob and I asked my stylist to part my hair in the middle and omg I love it . Even when I have round face and you mentioned that maybe was not suitable for those with round face it did work for me .
thank you sooo much because I walked into the salon knowing what I wanted and for my stylist was Crystal clear of what I wanted . Now I understand l the importance of knowing exactly what you want I and how to articulate it for best results
Age 71. I have had long straggly hair since I stopped cutting and coloring it 2 years ago. I used to pay $150 plus tip for C & C, but today I couldn’t stand it anymore. It has gotten thin in front and straggly and unkempt in uneven back.
I dropped in a cheap ($7.95 Great Clips) and the older stylist followed my request and cut it shoulder length straight/blunt all the way around. It took about 8 minutes! It looks so much healthier and thicker, and my gray/white hair absolutely shimmers with new life. What a coup. Yes, I tipped her $20. ❤
Then I stumbled onto this post after I got home and it looks like I did the right thing for my poor, thin, straggly hair. 👍
wow thanks for sharing you hair problems and how to fix them, I am learning a lot and I am trying to cover up my hair problems
I've heard all these before, they never look good because they still require you to have a lot of hair. I just gave up and keep it long enough to pin up in the back and just have a messy bun look when I go out.
I wish I knew what to do with my hair. I had fine hair that was waist length, but after taking some medication for my lupus, my hair fell out my end, desperately trying to grow it back, but it has been a slow painful process, I have been wearing wigs and they want to stop wearing wigs, but my ends look so thin and scraggly, I don’t know what to do, since my hair fell out I allowed all my gray hair to grow out, but I don’t think I like it and I’m afraid to dye it and have my hair fall out again! I’m thinking a short haircut that would make me look like I have more hair than I do, but I don’t know what to do for my age 64 and face shape, which is square round I think! I’m just lost without my old look, it has always been long black hair parted down the middle

Wry deceptive cover photo. Different women.
I lost the name of the product that covers areas of hair thinning. It has 60 in the name. Please send the correct name. Thanks
Last one!
Most of those women do NOT have thinner hair and they are all young. I’m talking see through scalp. 🤷♀️
Im requesting a blunt bob woth wispy bangs and face framing today
I am balling my eyes out because I had perfect voluminous hair and a hair stylist chopped and damaged all my hair off. She over texturized my hair and only left like two strands behind now my hair is frizzy and damaged. If anyone reads this and has been through this please share tips because I’m heart broken.
Just recently discovered your lovely channel and am now binge watching your videos. Also recently discovered Summers channel too, and like both of you I also have fine hair. Clearly your tips and tricks are working as you both look to have amazing (thick!) hair. I totally agree about a blunt (un-layered) bob being a great flattering cut for those of us not lucky enough to have a thick mane – something I’ve had variations of for years. Thank you for sharing your great knowledge 👏🏻. All the best from across the pond 😊🇬🇧
All these styles suitable for fine hair but plenty of it still searching for very fine thinning styles 😢😢
Ladies, thank you for the amazing advice! I'd not recommend blunt bob because even though it gave some fullness at the ends I couldn't obtain any volume at roots and it looked, well, blunt. What ultimately worked for me was long pixie, and now that I'm growing it out fine hair problems came back 🤦🏻♀️
Know I'm not like that ??? 🤔
Angel Hair… 🤔
Good cut and good advice for rounder face it not being right without the soft longer layers. Love ya Gabi!
Loved this 😊
Can you please tell me what cut is good for round face 71 year old with thin hair?
Ik hou niet van korte kapsels( had ik vroeger altijd)tussen kin en schouders lengte is voor mij perfect. Kan je van alles doen met je haar, maar wind of regen maakt mijn haar altijd plat.En dat is letterlijk … drama
I have such fine thin hair but I wear my hair back/up everyday. Heading to the salon soon. Thinking of a blunt bob. But just not sure.
Thin to thick? Just let your hair live. (No dryer, no colors…) And that's it
I don't this hair look that fine .
It any of these examples have thin hair though
I have a round face, so the shorter cuts may not work. I also am a singer and at gigs I get very hot (dancing, lights, adrenaline) so sweat is a problem for my hair. What cut would you suggest and also, would I be better off on stage by fixing my hair (up do of some sort) from the start. Thanks 😊
I want butterfly cut!!!
It's weird that women with 'fine hair' still have so much more hair/volume than me… 😢
Unlike most stylists these ladies love their craft and constantly learn, share and evolve. My respects ladies! It’s not the norm, most are lazy and uninspired. Haven’t we experienced the stylist with a gorgeous cut that can’t actually create it. Wish I could ask for the lady that cut my stylists hair. I haven’t seen a good cut on myself for years and I’m not going to chop shops.
There is a difference in fine and thin isn't there?
